Mad Fox Designs collars are all made from high quality materials to ensure your hound's safety. I won't put on your hound what I wouldn't put on mine!!
The webbing I use is 600 lb. per foot polypropelene - lightweight, yet durable. Hardware is heavyweight, and is cast brass or cast and welded steel. Fabric collars are all sewn with Gütermann 100% polyester threads or clear nylon quilting thread to prevent the stitching from deteriorating with wear and repeated washing. Leather collars are all stitched with high quality waxed nylon immitation sinew, and are oiled after construction to make your collar feel buttery soft and supple, as well as to help resist water damage.
All collars are inspected and tested for structural integrity before they are sent out. You can feel confident that I have done everything I possibly can to ensure that you are getting a quality product that you can feel safe using and be proud to put on your hound!
