Artwork by the Mad Fox @ Mad Fox Designs

Welcome to one of my great passions. I have been drawing since I discovered crayons and stick figures. My grandmother was an accomplished artist in her own right, and she guided me along the way. I haven't done as much drawing lately as I once did. I put so much of myself into each one, and feel so tired after, that I feel that they each must have a part of my energy in it. With some "recharging", I feel better than I started. There are some days, when I can't concentrate on anything for the life of me, that I know that something is demanding to come forth. I almost don't have a choice. My topic of preference is animals, nearly always. Their life and energy fill me with a desire to capture just a moment of it. My medium of choice - pencil, charcoal, and chalk, on medium to heavy weight art paper.

Oh, and I failed art in school...
